HOW INVISALIGN STRENGTHENS TEETH

Invisalign is a cutting-edge orthodontic system that uses a progressive series of digitally printed, clear aligners to gradually shift your teeth into place. • Initial Consultation: Your journey to a straighter smile begins with a consultation at Elite Dental of Clermont. Dr. Patel will assess your occlusion (bite) and determine if Invisalign is the right orthodontic choice for your smile.

• Customized Treatment Plan: If Invisalign fits your needs, we'll take digital impressions and scans of your teeth. These images are used to create a personalized treatment plan, showing the step-by-step transformation of your smile as well as the cost of your treatment. We securely transfer your scans to Invisalign labs, where your aligners are printed. 

• Wearing Your Aligners: You'll wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. Over time, these clear trays will gently shift your teeth into the desired positions. You’ll notice some light pressure as you transition from one to the next.

• Regular Checkups: Throughout your Invisalign journey, you'll stop by Elite Dental of Clermont periodically to ensure your treatment is progressing as planned. Dr. Patel will make any necessary adjustments to keep you on track. In most cases, we’ll check your bite once every 6-8 weeks. 
• Length of Treatment: Most Invisalign treatments last anywhere from 6 to 18 months, depending on your unique case. Dr. Patel can provide you with a firm estimate during your initial consultation.

• Retainers: After completing your Invisalign treatment, Dr. Patel will provide you with retainers to wear daily or at night to ensure your teeth do not shift out of alignment.
